How?
I'm having major problems when this dopple can just hit me for 140 dmg with his bow

Check the monk section. But if you can't figure it out on your own, you'll suck with the cookie cutter builds too.

Why exactly do you need to do it at level 7? Why don't you just go back through the game, do quests and grind and get yourself up about 10 levels?
Personally, I get tired of people who try to rush through the game at such low levels. If you're having trouble here, play the game and level up.

Most of the monk and necro's now want to take advantage of the cookie cutter 55 builds. And most fail miserably at it then blame the build for sucking.

If you're taking 140 damage from a normal bow attack get new armor.

Chances are you dont have enough att. points to take down your doppel at lvl7 with a monk. Unless you're a Mo/mesmer in that case you can give him some weak spells which he will use and just use domination to do some damage. I did the doppel at 13no problem with my monk. Never done it lower with a monk so I cant help much more than that.

Thanx for the tips, i AM a mesmer secondary and backfire has worked once or twice (one point got him down to 40 health) but i think i will get new armor, thanks for your help

Lots of people have gone through the game and they don't want to do it again because it gets repetitive. Just take prot spirit and take a few dmg smiting skills, worked for me at lvl 9.

but wont the dopple also use prot spirit? did you use like bane sig and banish?

Some people have done the game already, now they wanna rush through it. Therres nothing wrong with people rushing through. If your rushing though the game, chances are you have a lvl 20 who's went through of the game and makes money.

I dont think you can beat your dopple at lvl 7. I personally dont know.

Pack Protective Spirit and a few smites with you.

If you're Mo/Me, back backfire + empathy.

If you have it, bring healing touch (it's a skill, so backfire won't kill you if you try to use it)

put all your attribute points into healing and smiting, get new armor (desert collector should be fine), use some kind of vigor rune and minor smiting and healing runes, and use the skills Holy wrath, retribution, healing breeze and life attunement. Thats how I beat mine at 6. It will take you a while though.

I wasn't able to do it at level 7, but I did get through it at level 8. I didn't try the exact same skills at 7, so this may still work. I did not attack at all - just let my doppel kill itself with damage from retribution.

Healing Breeze
Retribution
Physical Resistance

Attributes -

Inspiration Magic - 3
Healing Prayers - 6 + 3
Smiting Prayers - 3 + 1 + 1

Armor/Equipment (all from Droknar's forge) -

Zealot's Scalp Design (smiting +1)
Ascetic's Chest Design
Wanderer's Handwraps
Monk's Pants
Ascetic's Foot Design

Healing Ankh

Runes -

Superior Healing and Vigor, Minor Smiting

All you need to do is cast Healing Breeze and Physical Resistance when you go in, then Retribution. Spam HB and PR as needed, but watch your energy so you have enough for both when they both end around the same time. If you have to choose between PR and HB due to low energy, go with HB. Also, stand far enough back so that you're in aggro range but not close enough that your doppel will take his axe out.

Does Doppleganger have the same hp as you do? (Never fought him before)

What I mean by this is, if you're a 55 monk with the -50 hp offhand, does doppleganger have 55 hp, 105 hp, or 425? (assuming lvl 20)

...was just thinking about that since, at level 7...

If you can get Shatter Enchantment and put some points in smiting (assuming your doppleganger has ~150-200 hp) you can bring Protective Spirit to keep yourself alive, healing breeze, and just Shatter Protective Spirit off of dopple when he tries to use it and smite him down.

Dopple has max health/energy and stats, along with max dmg weapons, only the skills are the same
